Illusion Game (The Inner World) - Part 2
Abstract: Our previous article sheds some light on to the nature of our human consciousness, the subtle meditative states one can attain and the final termination layer of our human mind. All these states, are witnessed through meditation as deep mental absorptions/samadhis. The nature of this termination layer really depends on the spiritual trajectory of the individual and their level of realization. Most of the time, the advanced practitioners from the Buddhist path go through this matrix/mirror-like state where our mind or awareness finally arrives to its own projection, that creates its own narratives, or rather illusions. Practitioners from other trajectories may have similar stories to share. However, at this mirror-like state, one starts to question everything he/she had witnessed so far; all the meditative experiences, signs, symbols and even the so-called past-life information. Whether they are based on our accumulated data supporting our belief system or whether is it absolute truth. Where do these narratives come from? Is the last layer of our human consciousness is an AI that creates these stories behind the scene, connecting all the dots? Are there hyper-dimensional beings in action behind this layer? In my opinion after this mirror like state, there is another journey to undertake.

What is human consciousness, and what is its true nature? How can we define it, and what is its full potential? In the following blog article, you will find answers to all these questions.
The above article concludes its discussion by providing a basic example of the illusions created by our human consciousness. It also addresses the dependent nature of our mind and how our narratives rely on accumulated information. This information is usually stored in our memory, in certain deep layers of our consciousness. They are basically the data collected, recorded through our five senses. However, the observations made in that specific example were only perceived at an intermediate level of samadhi, which does not fully capture the ultimate nature of the human mind. In this article, we delve deeper into the illusory aspects of our consciousness and explore the nature of the termination layer at the level of ascended masters.
The Meditative States in the Ascending Order: Form/Formless and Fruition Mind States
Our previous article already brings some insights into the form/formless Jhanic and fruition mind states. Therefore we do not discuss about these subtle meditative states in detail again. Most of the Jhanic states illustrated in the previous article were gross-level attainments that fall under the 6th/Ajna chakra level. In this article, we only discuss about the meditative attainments above the Ajna chakra level. They are extremely subtle and therefore resulting only a negligible amount of mental activities. Most of the time, truth seekers halt their search at one of these stages. This can occur due to their limited capacity or maturity, as well as the maximum level of awakening that the universe permits for that particular individual. Through these meditative stages/samadhis, one may encounter many different visions, symbols and signs that convey/signal messages to the individual. These messages/epiphanies are quite important for the individual's growth as well as his service to the humankind. However if you are an ambitious star-seed who is a catalyst for other seekers and invigorate fellow practitioners, then you might have a chance to go beyond these levels and to arrive to an ascended master level. However after this point, your spiritual evolution becomes a challenge and you become vulnerable to the occult/hyper-dimensional forces. This is highly likely the case for many higher order practitioners (i.e. Buddha/Jesus) if they successfully get through the preliminary-stage traps and illusions.
For instance in any of the given states above, an angle/spirit-guide or a divine figure may appear to you to give an instruction or to show a potential follower/candidate for your cause. Or one of your highly revered masters may appear in a celestial form to guide you or to hint where your weaknesses are. These instructions must be taken into your heart and should be followed with utmost respect. There is no question about it! They are not illusive instructions. What I am trying to imply is, these instructions and visions are realistic at this stage.

So what do you want to make out of these signs? Olden times, specially around the Indian sub-continent region, when people saw these signs as the inner manifestation of their energy centers, they started to make a living out of it. For instance, seeing lord Shiva at 6th/Ajna chakra level and lord Ganesh at 3rd chakra level was an auspicious sign with immense blessing for the followers/believers. They built shrines and started to venerate these deities and made a nice living around these beliefs. In this way, a belief system and a tradition emerged around these ideas and people were no longer interested in awakening/activating their energy centers. Instead they continued venerating the deity. I am not against any of these religious faculties and belief systems, however, one can also investigate the underlying message these figures embody and being attuned to that. While being attuned to this truth, we also continue the tradition, so that we uphold the traditional/cultural values while walking on the right spiritual path. That's my perspective :)
Ascended Masters: Do they return to service?
When the time is ripe, our old spiritual masters were said to return, to serve the entire humanity. That's what I heard from our late master D. A. Jayasuriya. All these masters have nothing but a single purpose, which is to awaken others and to reveal the true nature of our human consciousness. As well as the mysteries of this great universe. Their energy bodies dwell in a separate energy space in this universe called "Shambala". Anybody who is following any spiritual trajectory in this world, might encounter the mental/energy states shown in the Fig. 2, by their own effort or with the help of a guru. However at some point, they all have to take a specific trajectory and stick to the directives of it. For instance, the beginning of the bodhisattva path might happen in the middle of the stages shown in Fig. 2. Then it distributes to many different trajectories. Higher order masters such as Gautham Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammad have their own trajectories, and therefore their understanding of the human mind/universe is different to each other. They evince different teachings!
The trajectory of such a spiritual practitioner looks like below (We'll discuss about these trajectories in greater detail on a later post).
Fig. 4. The so-called mirror-like state that reflects our own personality and belief system. One could argue that it is sort of a tapestry that was created by our consciousness time to time. Depending on the depth of our ego, the different narratives come into the surface.
Why do these mental images are a reflection of our own personality in the termination layer?
Well, this is an interesting question! All meditative States, Jhanas and Samadhis witnessed well before the termination layer are rather shallow insights to the nature of our human mind. It's a subjective and a relative reading. Every layer before the termination has a notion of "Self". Only deeper we go, the experience of the true nature of the individuality is expressed in absolute sense. Then one might question whether there's really a person, an individual or not! At this point, we should start to question everything we have seen so far. In fact it seems like, we are merely an animation of a "data set".
Does it mean that, these shallow insights are wrong?
I do not think so. They are very true to that particular moment/reading. They in fact reveal useful information for our evolutionary trajectory. Only deeper we go, the relative/subjective nature of our human mind ceases to exist.
How should we treat the messages appear in this termination layer?
These messages may reveal useful information to the practitioner. However it takes time to understand and realize that how these messages and images are created and the very source of it. There is still an illusive nature to this information that surfaces time to time. This knowledge is pretty much aligned with the Buddhist teaching. These information usually appear to the termination layer not as singular objects, but as narratives created by connecting several stories and information.
Some people claim that the universe is mental. Is that true?
Well I still do not believe so. There is more to learn and master than these insights. However many spiritual elite-groups such as Freemasonry also have similar claims as presented below. In a nutshell, we can conclude that, the person or the individuality we maintain is rather a set of accumulated information and this personality is run/controlled by the cause-and-effect principle. Conclusion
Well, when we traverse through our deeper mind layers and try to tap/reach out to the corners of our human consciousness, several mysteries come into light. The fascinating thing about this inward journey is that, at each stage, a new set of insights and revelations are brought back to the conscious layer of our mind, sometimes self-contradicting what we believe. This information has a tremendous importance for our human evolution and sometimes can even change our worldly perception or our current reality. We start our spiritual journey by learning the basics in religious studies first and then slowly moving into meditation. However some individuals might only understand and realize the religious message by their own insights and this is unfortunately, the other way around!
